Nina Paley and Lawerence Lessig.      Looking at the subject of remix, there were many aspect that I personally didn't understand or wasn't aware of till today. One of those aspect was Copyright, after watching Paley's tedtalk and reading some part of Lessig's book "Remix" I was able to understand how some point of view may be wrong or right depend how you look at it.      On copyright, people may understand that it is wrong that someone can profit from the work of others. However, understanding Paley's point of view, thru remix we share and develop our own culture, and even though someone can profit from someone work, they are also sharing further knowledge into our society. As Lessig said on his book, "we have come from a read-write culture to an only read culture" explains that due copyright laws we are more restricted to growth our culture.      Aside of how copyright laws affect society and even the economy, Paley and Lessig...

Carlo Keshishian Looking at the above picture at the museum, I was kind of confuse about their meaning.  However, Mr. Keshishian made a effort to take multiple perspective into this theme, creating this  master piece that even looking at it and try to understand it for more than 1 hour, still let you question it. The art itself is open for many interpretation and comparision. Nonetheless, we were only able to contrast it with outsider artist Vojislav Jakić, whom drawing make some similarity to Keshishian on the way they took multiple perspective into a specific theme. 

MET. Today at the met we were able to see many great artists and their plays on contemporary art. Between the show there were many pieces that took my attention. However, Cornell and Hockney were the two that made the biggest impression on me with their work. Cornell with this work really made a great impression on me, and actually made me questions who was he; As this piece look like a masterpiece from a famous artist like Picasso.   On the other hand, Hockney create a great piece here. The more get closer I realize that it wasn’t a photograph. However, the quality of the picture made think it was indeed a photo taken by a camera.       While visiting the Transformer exhibit at the National Museum of the American Indian, there were many pieces that made me stop and think about them. However, Kevin McKenzie’s art work “Father, Son, Holy Ghost.” (2015) was one of those works that left you speechless. When I first walked into the sculpture my first impression was being very curious about what three buffalo skulls with neon lights represented. Nonetheless, perception is the base of judgement, and understanding that in a museum of American Indian, buffalos were those animals that those tribes hunted helps you realize that these skulls in a wall with neon lights was some kind of highlight of what buffalos means to this people.      After doing some research, my first analysis on the artwork was not correct 100%.
